弘中 優大 Yudai HIRONAKA
福岡県北九州市生まれ、山口県下関市出身。
山口県立長府高等学校を経て、国立音楽大学卒業(弦管打楽器ソリストコース修了)。卒業時に同大学卒業演奏会、ヤマハ管楽器新人演奏 会第28回金管楽器部門に出演。在学中にパリ・ギャルド・レピュブリケーヌ吹奏楽団日本公演においてバンダ奏者として共演し、2011年には国立音楽大学海外特別研修奨学生に選出されフィンランド・リエクサ・ブラスウィークに参加。
2012年に単身渡米し、2015年アーカンソー大学・大学院修士課程を修了。
UARK Concerto & Aria Competition 第1位。2014年にはアーカンソー・フィルハーモニック交響楽団の定期公演にて協奏曲を共演。 NPO 法人 芸術・文化 若い芽を育てる会 第6回助成オーディション入賞。アメリカ・テネシー州で行われた ITEC2016 in Knoxville (国際 テューバ・ユーフォニアム大会) コンペティション室内楽部門ファイナル入選(ソロ部門セミファイナリスト)。第32回・第35回レオナー ド・ファルコーニ国際コンクール セミファイナリスト。
これまでにユーフォニアムを三浦徹、長谷川公彦、Dr.齋藤充、Dr.ベンジャミン・ピアス(Benjamin Pierce)の各氏に師事している。
2016年に日本帰国後、九州管楽合奏団をはじめ数々の楽団等で客演など、北九州・福岡・下関を中心に演奏活動、指導活動を展開し ている。また、2017年4月には自身発案の個人教則本「Ideas for Warm-Up」がウィンズスコア社より発売された。
海響ベーストライブ主宰。アンサンブル・フィロス、山口ユーフォニアムカルテット、各メンバー。ウィルソン・ユーフォニアム・アーティスト。平成音楽大学、福岡第一高等学校音楽科(ユーフォニアム)各講師。日本ユーフォニアム・テューバ協会理事。
Yudai Hironaka was born in Fukuoka, Japan and Hironaka began to play the trumpet at the age of 10, then the Euphonium and Tuba at the age of 12.
Hironaka completed his Bachelor’s of Music at Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, Japan and his Master's of Music at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville, AR, U.S.A.
During his studies at KCM, he was a semi-finalist in the 2010 Jeju International Brass Competition, and participated in many conferences and concerts, such as the Lieksa Brass Week in Finland as an honorable scholarship student, the Japan tour of the Orchestra of the Republican Guard of Paris as a tenor horn player, and the final concert at the Mid-West Band and Orchestra Conference as a member of the Kunitachi Blasorchester. After he graduated from KCM, he was selected as an honorable graduate of the KCM, then he performed in the 2012 KCM graduate concert and the YAMAHA new comers recital in the YAMAHA hall, Tokyo.
In 2013, Hironaka moved to Fayetteville and began to study under Dr. Benjamin Pierce, a world famous euphonium and tuba player. Hironaka took 1st place in the University of Arkansas Concerto Aria Competition in 2013, and performed D. Gillingham's Vintage with Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra in Bentonville in 2014.
He was a finalist in the small ensemble competition and a semi-finalist in the artist Euphonium competition at ITEC 2016 in Knoxville. His original etude "Ideas for Warm-Up' was published by Winds Score.
His primary teachers were Toru Miura, Kimihiko Hasegawa, Dr. Mitsuru Saito, and Dr. Benjamin Pierce.
Currently, he is a member of Yamaguchi Euphonium Quartet and Euphonium & Tuba Ensemble "Philos".
The leader of Kaikyo Bass Tribe (Euphonium Tuba Ensemble Group).
